What do purchasing managers fear most about Metal cabinet?
- Samples pass the inspection, but production results vary
- Delivery deadlines are promised, but repeatedly delayed
- Weld seams rust, and after-sales service is non-existent
We are a Chinese metal parts supplier founded in 1999, with a workshop area of over 9,000 square meters and certified by ISO 9001:2015.Over the past 25 years, we have customized over 70,000 different types of components for more than 3000 global enterprises.
Next, we will dissect a real hotel equipment cooperation case to give you a direct impression of our capabilities.
A Real Order
From “The customer is about to complain” to “Acceptance inspection one weeks in advance”
In early 2023, the purchasing director of an Irish hotel chain group came to us with an urgent order. Their original supplier had taken on an order for 180 mobile refrigeration cabinets. Still, after producing 60 units, all of them broke down.
At this point, there were only 45 days left until the final delivery, and it was almost impossible to find a new factory, remold the molds, and re-produce the samples.
After receiving the drawings, we immediately initiated the free engineering optimization.
The engineering team spent 24 hours reviewing the drawings and identified three major flaws in the original design:
① The bending coefficient did not take into account the rebound of the decorative panel, resulting in incorrect preset assembly clearance;
② The welds were too dense, and full-welding was used, which exacerbated the deformation of the thin plate;
③ The depth of the sealing strip installation groove was insufficient, affecting insulation.
We voluntarily submitted a modification plan, changing some of the structures to intermittent welding and riveting combinations, adding internal reinforcement ribs, and adjusting the bending compensation value.
The client was initially skeptical, but we promised: “Conduct a free sample first, verify it is qualified before placing an order.”
Full-process Chain Control
From laser cutting to final assembly, none of the processes are outsourced.
During the sample production stage, we activated a dedicated sample production line and used our own equipment throughout the process:
We used a 6-kilowatt laser for material removal and CNC bending (tolerance set at ±0.5mm) in the Stamping process to manufacture ventilation mesh holes and heat-dissipation long-strip holes.
All frame welding is positioned with dedicated tooling fixtures. Inner and outer skins are joined primarily by riveting, supplemented by spot welding to minimize thermal deformation. All welds undergo strict pickling, passivation, and polishing, with 100% inspection coverage.
After the samples were completed, we invited the customers to visit our factory for on-site acceptance.
They randomly selected some semi-finished products from our workshop for destructive tests, and all the indicators exceeded the requirements specified in the original drawings.
The customers immediately decided to transfer all 180 orders to us and also requested an additional 20 spare cabinets.
Quantifiable Results
Make customers truly at ease
During the mass production stage, all the processes worked closely together. All 200 Metal cabinet were delivered within 35 days, one week ahead of the customer’s original plan. The final inspection data for shipment:
🔹All cabinet doors, guide rails, and slots can be interchanged for assembly. The gap deviation is ≤ 0.5mm. For customers, after maintenance, they only need to order standard parts and do not need to reassemble;
🔹Out of all batches, only 1 unit was reworked due to transportation impact. The processing scrap rate is 0;
🔹Third-party testing shows that the insulation time is 22% higher than the customer’s standard;
🔹After 9 months of use, the weld seams are not rusted, the riveting gaps have no water leakage, and the bottom plate of the casters has no depression.
Our Commitment
Not just the processing itself
Apart from the craftsmanship, we place greater emphasis on “companion service”:
– Before sale: The business team thoroughly understands the usage scenarios and provides suggestions;
– During sale: They take active photos and videos to keep track of the production progress;
– After sale: Any issues after delivery will be responded to within 24 hours.
We always welcome customers to visit our factory at any time for an on-site inspection. You can bring your own drawings, samples, and even those of your competitors, and come to our workshop for comparative testing.
You can randomly select semi-finished products being produced online and verify the materials and dimensions on-site. You can even watch your Metal cabinet transform from a sheet of steel to a finished product, all in a transparent process.
